Plan Highlights for 2026:
- No rate increases for anyone!
- There are no rate changes for any of the BCBS Plans or voluntary elected plans.
- Retirement plan moving to a 401k from a Simple IRA
- More options, more flexibility, and more guidance!
- On Site Health Care through WellBuilt Health by Aderholt Medical
- We will have an on site clinic at our Athens, AL location where employees and their families can receive FREE primary care if enrolled in a GCAS BCBS Insurance Plan!
- Plans are available for employees not enrolled in BCBS Insurance Plans also.
- FREE yearly health screenings for all employees
- Biometric screening will be offered twice each year (Spring and Fall) for all employees for FREE! Even if you aren’t enrolled in any health plans.
- Health Screening requirement for participants on BCBS plan
- Beginning in 2027, there will be additional costs for employees who do not participate in required screening. Additional details to come on this as we get into 2026.
- Additional Pharmacy Partnership with Star Pharmacy
- Our relationship with Eastside and Hometown Pharmacy’s in Athens, AL has been so successful that we decided to add more!
- In 2026, enjoy the same great benefits, including FREE generic medications, from Star Pharmacy locations including Huntsville, Pulaski, Gurley, Meridianville.
- Medicare Assistance
- Need help getting your Medicare setup? We have a partnership with a Medicare Specialist that can assist with enrollment when the time comes.
